Virtusize (CEO Ueno-Olausson Andreas, Minato-ku, Tokyo) and New World Company (CEO Ono Tomohiro, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announced today that they have entered into agreement for a long-term strategic partnership that is expected to accelerate growth for both companies in the fast-growing, rapidly changing fashion e-commerce industry. The partnership leverages the respective strengths of Virtusize and New World Company to create compelling value that will help drive innovation in the industry in both Japan and global markets.
Importantly, the partnership strategically aligns both companies for the long-term by combining the strength of Virtusize leading big data and AI capabilities with New World’s dedicated focus and expertise as a pioneer and leader with digital footwear fitting.
Together the companies will provide both hardware and software for the next generation of footwear size guidance, fully integrating online and offline.
